Friend Of Ours was born out of a desire to bring people together, not just by giving them what they want but by elevating their wants. At its core, it’s an initiation: a quiet nod, a handshake, a seat at the table. Born at the crossroads of sport, street, and subculture, we craft pieces that honour individuality while binding people into something larger than themselves.
Our journey begins with a collection crafted for the ever-growing pickle and padel community, a space where movement, energy, and connection collide. Through considered design and timeless silhouettes, we aim to create garments that don’t just perform but carry meaning.
The name Friend Of Ours draws directly from Donnie Brasco, where Lefty (played by Al Pacino) explains the difference between a “Friend of Mine” and a “Friend of Ours.” The former signifies an affiliate; the latter, a made man—someone who belongs to something bigger. This notion of initiation, respect, and loyalty is woven into everything we do.
Friend Of Ours isn’t about uniformity. It’s about building a collective: a family of individuals bound by shared values and a distinct sense of taste. Every piece we create is designed to reflect character, to carry subtle strength, and to give its wearer a sense of pride and honour.
